The Resolution Run 5k was used as a starting point for many league members. I tried to be as fair as possible when placing league members into either Group A, B, C, or D. This is the first year of the league and I am open to suggestions or ways to improve the scoring system. Please let me know your thoughts for improvement or ways to simplify the system. Each member was placed into one of four groups based on their pace/mile for the 5k. If the member earned a Personal Record (PR) at the Resolution Run, that PR time determined which group they were placed in. If the member had a previous 5k PR within the last five years and did not earn a PR at the Resolution Run, the previous 5k time determined which group they were placed in. If this was the members first 5k within the last five years, they earned a PR and that time determined which group they were placed in.
To see what group you are in and your point totals click the links below. Notice that referral points can make a big difference to where you are placed. Your friends and family members can still sign up to be a part of the league and start earning points at the Spring Burst and Earth Advantage runs in April. Remember, once they sign up, they are automatically registered for the Fall Finale in Oct/Nov for only $30. All members that signed up for the Resolution Run will be registered for the Fall Finale for free.
